Flaminia is a leading player at Cersaie\u00a0 2024<\/strong>, with an installation project that centres on the dialogue between art and design, between production and sustainability. Conceived by the brand’s art director Giulio Cappellini<\/strong>, the exhibition evokes Parc G\u00fcell<\/strong>, the extraordinary and surreal garden created in Barcelona by Antoni Gaud\u00ec, where fragments of coloured ceramics give life to a spectacular artistic masterpiece.
Taking its cue from the work of the Catalan architect, Parco Flaminia has taken shape with the intention of highlighting the brand’s commitment to sustainability: an immersive space, delimited by plants, where the exhibition itinerary unfolds, recounting the company’s focus on the natural landscape and the problems of the community where it is located, emphasising the actions taken through the years to implement effective measures for the reuse of ceramics.
Two large portals made of coloured ceramic shards from the company’s production scrap welcome the visitors to the show, and, as in Gaudi’s project, illustrate the possibility of transforming elements deemed of little value into a work of art. Inside Parco Flaminia<\/strong> the brand’s creations are displayed as if floating on the grass, grouped by colour families.
Colour, in fact, continues to be a fundamental theme in Flaminia’s research and production activities. The brand\u2019s designers experiment with nuances, investigating matt tones in the earthy shades of Cenere, Fango, Latte, Carbone, Nuvola, Menta, Argilla and Uva and in the vibrant shades of Rosso Rubens and Petrolio. The glossy effect of the polished finishes lights up Avana, Terracotta, Azzurro Polvere and Verde Giada, and is enhanced by the Crystal finish applied to Topazio and Smeraldo. As precious as the metals from which they take their name are the Silver Black, Silver White, Metal Oro and Metal Platino finishes.
The interplay of colours and three-dimensional effects also play a key role in the decoration, Tratti designed by Elena Salmistraro<\/strong>, which finds expression on the stand through the Rossi and Blu variants characterising the CM3 shower trays and the NudaFlat 120 console. Intended not only as an aesthetic but also as a functional element, a new decoration is also applied to the Water Drop shower trays, where it serves as a non-slip surface. With these proposals Flaminia’s exploration of the theme of decoration continues through an innovative technique, now applied for the first time to bathroom ceramics.
Among the products making their debut, the exhibition unveils the new Monosettecento<\/strong> project, designed by Giulio Cappellini, which joins the Settecento washbasin line, introducing a monolithic element of significant proportions that calls to mind the architectural details of the ancient world.<\/p>

The Play<\/strong> family has expande dwith the introduction of washbasins offered in three different sizes and in rectangular and square shapes. Available in all the colours envisaged for this line, these washbasins, like the other products in the collection, enhance the combination of square lines and rounded corners. And there is no lack of ceramic proposals for the kitchen, an area the company has begun to move into with interest, represented here by the Acquafood<\/strong> countertop sink with double basin.<\/p>

In the dialogue between the brand’s iconic products and its latest creations, ample space is given to the projects by designer Oki Sato from the Nendo<\/strong> studio, with whom the company inaugurated a successful partnership in 2010. On show is the surprising Box<\/strong> washbasin, inspired by the unboxing experience, which was presented as a preview at the last edition of Milan Design Week. Stretching to the limit the concept of the parallelogram, the Japanese artist has worked with slim profiles and sharp lines that extend beyond the outline of the box to take on the appearance of two light, poetic wings. New entries by Nendo for the Lighting sector include: the Tub-lamp<\/strong> ceramic lamps, in Big and Small versions, and the experimental Taki project, with a free-standing installation in a Latte finish. Composed of three ceramic elements of different sizes, held together by a steel structure and arranged at a slight offset, this object is a metaphor of an evocative waterfall.<\/p>

On display alongside the latest creations are several best-selling products that continue to reap great acclaim, such as Link by Giulio Cappellini and Roberto Palomba, Bonola by Jasper Morrison, Twin by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, Roll by Nendo, confirming the timeless nature of Flaminia design.
